Merry Christmas!

Well I recently completed a giveaway from my page which was a total success. I figure if I do one every month I will gather up the clientele needed to run my business so am excited about that! In other stories I recently have come to the realization that when my body tells me to sleep, do it! Cause if not you end up putting nesquik container in the fridge and toothpaste on your baby's bum instead of diaper cream. The hubby asked me if I was trying to flash her butt as well and I just sarcastically laughed knowing that maybe if I was just that tired I would have Lol. School is finally out for me until January 6th! I am enjoying my time with my family and hopefully will get to crochet some more things :) in greater news Merry Christmas everyone!!! I hope you all had a wonderful day and that you ended it with a smile and your wonderful families or friends. For those who don't know, a year ago today I became a Mormon and might I add I think it has to be one of the momentous times of my 23 years of living. :) I have never been more happy with my life, friends and family I have and how much it has grown the more people I get to know. The most wonderful news of all though is that tomorrow at 5 am it SNOWS!!!!!!! I am like a little kid on Christmas or there birthday when it comes to snow. This year I will be able to play in it with my wonderful kids and honey, drink hot cocoa with a better purpose...or just because. ;) if I can I will be taking pictures I just must first find a camera to do so. busy week!!!

Grrr...so my day is just ending, my draft post got deleted before I could post it so I have to try to remember what I was gonna post! I do know that I have had a very busy week, from school work, making those ornaments and getting things ready for Christmas! I can't believe its so close and yet so far!! Speaking of ornaments I have those pictures for you guys! I hope you like how they came out!! We have christmas pictures tomorrow and a christmas party at night! Then shopping finally on saturday!! I cant wait! On another note, I was on a roll today, amongst my draft getting deleted...this morning I went to go change Addy's diaper and I put toothpaste on her bum instead of cream (in my defense they are both white with writing in the back and i didn't think to look in the front until I realized the thin of it! Lol) and stuck the nesquik in the fridge instead of putting it back in the pantry Lol....it was a great reminder to how much sleep I am NOT getting these days...but it surely does make it interesting!! Busy weekend!

So the weekend is finally coming to a close and yes....Christmas is getting closer!!! Woot Woot! I cannot wait. We are almost done making ornaments for our tree, it has been quite a process..but the hubby says it looks very humble, so I'll take that. :) Once we are done I will be posting up the pictures! Don't worry I have not forgotten. This weekend has been a crazy one..I had the ending of my first giveaway for the baby hair bows I now make and one church Christmas party after the next. We had one for Relief Society last Saturday and then a lovely small "around the world" themed Christmas party with just a few members and the turn out for both was a success and so much fun! I love being in Tennessee so much and can't wait to see what our future here holds! Anyways, me and my sister announce our giveaway winner tomorrow so I'll be back tomorrow as we have a big day ahead and some shopping to do! Good night everyone and stay safe!

Christmas Fever

So we got our lovely Christmas tree on Friday! So excited, we have the lights on and I have been working on ornaments with the kids and will be posting up those pics once they are all done. All I can say is making homemade everything is very time consuming. The outcome does make it worth it and the fact that kids see their work on the tree makes it even better! I cannot wait til were all done. Another upside, my inventory is slowly rising and I should be opening shop by the next week or two, but should still be able to get items to you before Christmas, so I am excited about that as well. Exciting Ornaments!!

I'm super excited...and tired!! we got our tree today and some lights. This will be our first family alone Christmas and so it is a bit bittersweet. The most fun thing is gonna be the decorating! Tomorrow after taking about four hours off and on today I found about 10 different ways me and angel can hand make our decorations. I will definitely be posting our first pictures tomorrow as I am excited to put this monumental step down into the woodwork! I think I am also making the hubby dish out some cash so I can get clear balls to fill up with different things I also found online....tomorrow will not only be fun for the children..well older child, but for mommy as well. I also later in the afternoon get to go to a relief society Christmas gift exchange/get together! I cannot wait for it! Well I need to get some shut eye as we have a long day ahead of us tomorrow. So I am loving my new theme I customized. Getting me into the holiday spirit for sure and I just cannot wait to get our Christmas tree!!! Today began as a downer because my homework was late due to my computer constantly freezing up on me. Needless to say I'm blogging from my tablet and giving my computer a good clean up and rest. Today we have a lot to do. Were taking a trip to Murray, ky where the hubby works and gotta go get some grocery shopping done up there along with maybe some Christmas shopping? Taxes are cheaper up there so hopefully all goes as planned :) until later hope you all have a wonderful day!

revamp!

So guys I know its been a while since I posted last, but it's been quite busy around the Vasquez household. We've had exciting short trip to downtown Nashville , Tn. It reminds me of a mini New York city! We also took a church trip to Paducah, Ky that reminded me of my hometown Miami, Fl. :) they were both great short trips and both reminded me of all the blessings I have received since moving up here to Paris, tn. I can't wait to see where my next adventure will be.  Also i will be soon opening up my online store soon. I will have homemade cleaning products handmade crochet items and handmade hair bows! When its up I will surely be posting it. Until then happy holidays everybody!! Also any wondering on my breastfeeding endeavors, it is going wonderfully. I had a slight set back when I was in tons of pain, but it was an easy fix on going back to ole' football hold! Supermom? I think so!

So today I considered myself to be a real supermom. On a normal basis I am a house wife and mother, who in that takes care of a 3 1/2 yr old and an almost 9 month old. I worked as a babysitter and had started school. In my new accomplishment I have moved my family to an entirely new state, atmospheric pressure and environment. I have started a new job that does not consist of babysitting, well for the most part anyways and I still cook, clean, take care of my little ones. Today for me was quite an accomplishment I believe though because; I successfully took care of my kids, cooked and cleaned. I did some grocery and under garment shopping as well as spent valuable time with my family before they all went to bed (were a household of 8 now) I finished my essay and made the hubby and sister-in-law snacks and lunch tomorrow as they have work! The most amazing thing is that I finished it all before 11:30!! Meaning I get roughly an hour to have some me time winding down from my very hectic and partially aggravating day...(i.e. blogging and taking a shower! WOOT WOOT!!) before I pass out off of the Benadryl I take for my allergies, lol. Anyways tomorrow I have some items that I would like to share with some mommies out there concerning breastfeeding and for everyone else I do have some deals that were sent to me via e-mail that should definitely be checked out! Till then, goodnight!

Tennessee!

So big things are starting to happen up here and our lives can only get better from here on up! I'm finally starting to get things a bit more settled around here, not saying it's been easy but things are definitely looking better. My first week of assignments for school went really well, not to mention quite easy, although a bit faulty on the internet for downloading cause we have had some much needed rain come in! I am proud to say I have two A's so far and hopefully another by tomorrow night! The house were in now is so cozy and the kids are loving it. Addy has become so independent up here! she always wants to be down on the floor schooching around (not crawling!) and she stands herself up and makes minor steps on her own (while holding onto things! Angel has actually grown it's amazing and he's getting so much better with his speech and reading, making us all so very proud! In just a few months our little one's will be turning 1 and 4! It's crazy how time flies and how the area effects the growth of children. Oh! Addy also now has two teeth FINALLY, but the breastfeeding is still going wonderfully. No biting, although her eating and sleep schedule has changed a bit, I'm not surprised I am very grateful for the not biting cause with my first he was a biter for about a month on and off total until he learned he wouldn't get fed without it! Lol! Onto more great news, the hubby starts work tomorrow along with my sister-in-law, so keep them in your prayers that they have a successful first week! :) To end my update I sent out for my new work-at-home excursion and it should arrive by Wednesday, so hopefully that turns out to be a successful deal! I'm so happy with all the things that we have going on for ourselves over here, but I can for sure say I do miss my family friends back in Miami, but this is our new home and I'm making the most of it...and the trees...oh the trees, I can't get enough of it, every time we drive to town it reminds me of Twilight, then I do a mini search through the trees in hopes of maybe finding and Edward and Bella like duo. I know it's crazy but what can I say..I LOVE the trees and have not been able to get enough of them just yet, or the fresh air, which I believe has taken a toll on my allergies, but I'll take that over the blistering heat that I heard is covering Miami right now! Anyways, for my loves back home, know that I pray for you guys every day and I miss you all so very much and can't wait to see you when we go back down to visit! L.O.S.T.

Hi guys! I know I haven't been on in forever but I've been crazy busy these past few weeks. Me, the hubby and fam made a quick dramatic change of scenery to Tennessee. The hubby got a good job opportunity up here so we made the change in 4 days! We've been in since late Monday afternoon but, things have been so hectic with meeting everyone and being at new church. I can't complain though, I've never seen so much green and the people are SO friendly its wonderful! I will be back now, not as often as I would like because with a new home comes new responsibility (in other words getting it all organized! Lol) I also have started school today and boy, with the baby it was not easy doing my first assignment! I do hole you guys enjoy and have the chance to read it! New things!

Sorry I was gone for a few days! My boy was in the hospital for 2 days over fever and pain in his tummy, both of which is gone, thankfully. Although they did find a little blood in his urine we are keeping to the positive side when we go to see the kidney specialist on Tuesday and praying all goes well! I will also be keeping you guys updated on that situation. So after careful consideration I have decided to try my hand at all natural, preferably organic products! For home and in the future animals and thank my sister @The Pagan Mommy for giving me the idea to work with things I am passionate about! Saying that I am also happy to announce I have taken my first step in contacting the executive director for La Leche League to see what good I can do for all those moms out there with questions on breastfeeding or needing help in that area. I have started small working with friends and family helping them breastfeed til at least 1 year old, some further including my godson :) and I would now like to expand my hand to mother's who need it outside of family and friends! So as soon as I hear the news on the steps I need to take I will definitely keep you guys informed! In other good news I reached my first 100 views when my son was in the hospital now Im up to roughly 130 in these past two days! I'm super excited about that. I figure once i reach 1,000 views I would like to try my hand in hosting my very first giveaway! So keep reading and I hope to hear from you guys soon! Chaos!?!

So guys a few things going on lately, from internet being cut out from forgetting to pay, then crazy Miami weather taking over and screwing up the light, cable and house phone..ridiculousness i tell ya haha. Thankfully now everything is back to normal and I'm working on getting things back in order just even with enough time for school to start! As for news my babies are frankly miserable currently. One in the hospital with papi tonight spiking a constant fever unless he's given medicine to help also with a stomach ache of some sort. hoping he comes home okay! The little one completely butchering her schedule for teeth that have yet to arrive strictly only wanting to breastfeed, if that and not even for long periods of time. Taking crazy short naps or extremely long ones, endless tears from the pain and exhaustion from lack of sleep, nothing seems to work until she's completely worn herself out and just can't fight it anymore..my poor babies! hey guys!

Hey! So sorry i haven't been on in quite a bit. Things have been crazy around here with the kids, construction and school! So an update on what's been going on lately. Our project for the efficiency is ALMOST done and I'm excited but, then again not so much! It's like a bitter sweet feeling. Hopefully starting a whole new better chapter in our lives! In other news I have been accepted to CTU and am starting July 8th and am super excited about that, but I will admit I'm a tad scared! I know I have a lot ahead of me and my adviser says I'm the busiest student he is taking care of right now so it was kind of pressure to make sure he's on top of me to make sure I'm getting everything done on time and ready to start! I plan to be in the top class members for 2014's graduating class and thus the pressure begins! Another upside to my past crazy few weeks is that we are finally gaining a car tomorrow and our money binge has paid off! It's a used one but anything is better than nothing when you have two kids and we get to work on it moderately, slowly making it our own! To add to it all my baby girl Addy is 7 months still with no teeth, but teething like a crazy baby...last night had to be the worst night so far, FOUR hours straight of unhappy baby crying and pain, constantly consoling and taking turns in trying to make her feel better we finally got some sleep about almost 6 a.m for good! I really hope she gets these teeth soon but, I can say I don't mind them too much as it currently keeps her mistaking me breastfeeding her for her baby food. :D Until that day comes I'll keep my eyes peeled and my chest braced for any moment to come! :) Have a great night/morning and I'll talk to you guys soon! So guys this week still luck with teeth for my baby girl. She's been teething so bad now it's affecting her eating and putting her in the worst of moods and lack of sleeping! Breastfeeding is having it's turmoil as she keeps pulling away and getting distracted by her brother! >.< upside to that, it's good to see the smile on her face from it as I wipe away the tears of pain (from us both, haha) :) For other news, I started babysitting again this week so I have my extra company along as my son has his play buddy back. The downside, my blue controller was wet with water on the arrow pad but my X (on the opposite side) isn't working...tell me how that happens! crazy crazy I'd say. Even better news our lovely wonderful water is back on, with no leaks I might add! it's so wonderful makes me a happy mommy. Well so long for now, I babysit 5 (including my two) tomorrow! Kickin' it old school...really old school

So today we kicked it super old school and what many people in the world still do til this very day. Washed some clothes by hand, along with dishes washed in one bucket rinsed in another but, the most interesting was taking the family a bath from luke warm water (and by the time I got to it freezing cold) AND to top it off I had to shave since we have church tomorrow! Let me tell you, I applaud people around the world who do these things on a daily basis, especially those who the water is not cleaned before use because, you do what you gotta do and with what limitations you have to do it with. I can see how it takes a whole day and makes you very tired at the end of the day if you weren't already tired from taking care of the kids, cleaning and cooking. So, how this all went down is actually quite simple. The hubby was moving plants for his grandma as she is doing a remodel on the side of the house patio. In this process of digging the hole he hit the water pipe with the pick axe and busted a small but lethal dent in the pvc. So since yesterday evening until tomorrow afternoon when we get back from church we'll be without lovely water, only using it sparingly when bathing and washing dishes once a day, while getting attacked by random beetles and mosquitoes!!. So, I'll let you guys go for the night as I do have church in the morning and more things to get done before bed :) enjoy!

Progress!!

So I finally think I'm making some sort of progress on the business aspect. I'm truly waiting for things to take off but, I am patiently waiting. :) As for other success stories the kids are finally back on there wonderful schedule after having them off the wire while I was creating everything this past week! I may be calling it an early night today due to the lack of sleep from the last week! Hooray for the working moms out there who can do it all! I truly commend you because getting back on the horse since my girly has been born has been quite difficult and very time consuming. Have a great night! hope to speak to you all soon!
